Sponsorship offers and deliverables

A sponsorship offer sets what your group delivers each month, for how long, and for what price. Both sides agree to it before anything starts.

A sponsorship offer is what your group and the brand ultimately agree to: a monthly price, a duration, and the deliverables your group completes each month. Once both sides accept, the offer becomes the sponsorship agreement and the price in it is what your group receives. An accepted offer cannot be modified. To change the terms, create a new offer.

Monthly price

The monthly price is what your group receives each month, from $1 to $10,000. Offers of $200 a month or more include unlimited email blast quota for your group while the sponsorship runs, and the offer says so with Includes unlimited email quota. The brand pays Heylo's platform fee in addition to it.

Duration

A sponsorship runs for 1 month, 3 months, or 6 months, or with no end date. The duration starts on the offer's start date and sets how many monthly payments the sponsorship includes.

Deliverables

Every offer has a set of deliverables for the group to complete in order to receive the sponsorship payment. Each deliverable has a type, how often it repeats (1 to 4 times per week or per month), and a description. Select Add deliverable on an offer to add one.

The description is where the specifics live: where a post appears, what an event includes, what a link has to prove. It is written into the agreement both sides sign, and it is what Heylo checks a submission against. Heylo fills in a default description for each type, and you can edit it in the offer before sending, so make it say exactly what your group will do.

Heylo placements

Included in every offer. Heylo runs the placements for you: the brand's banner appears on your group's profile, event pages, and emails to members for the full sponsorship term. There is nothing for you to complete.

Email blast

An announcement from you to your members that carries the brand's message, sent by push notification and email through your group's announcements.

Social media post

A post on your group's social media that tags the brand and shows the brand's product or logo.

An event that includes the brand. You set exactly how in the deliverable's description, such as product on site, signage, or a shout-out from a host.

One link as proof of work completed off Heylo, such as a feedback form, a review, or a product purchase.

Once a sponsorship is accepted, each deliverable arrives on the Sponsorships screen with a due date and a submission form, and the brand sees your progress in real time. The payout for each month goes to your group's linked bank account. To send an offer to a brand, review the sponsor request.
