Heylo Search empowers any member in your group to instantly find messages across the group's full chat history. New members can tap into everything your group has discussed before they joined. Existing members can find answers without scrolling or asking around. Every conversation that the group has ever had becomes a searchable knowledge base, and the longer you use Heylo, the more valuable it gets.
How to search
- Open any group on Heylo
- Select the search icon in the chat toolbar
- Type your query (minimum 3 characters)
- Browse results with message preview, sender, time, and chat name
- Select any result to jump directly to that message in context
Heylo uses fuzzy search, so results will appear even if your query isn't spelled perfectly.
You can also search within a specific chat. Open any chat, navigate to the header, and select the search icon for results scoped to just that conversation.
What's searchable
- All public group chats, including chats you haven't joined
- Event chats, including events you have joined and events you haven't joined yet, both past and future
- Private group chats you are a member of
Search applies to text messages only. Images and videos are not searchable.
