An offer is sent to a group and sets the monthly price, how long the sponsorship runs, and what the group delivers each month. You are only charged for groups that accept. You build and send offers in the brand dashboard at brands.heylo.com. Before anything goes out, an admin on your brand team signs the campaign agreement and links a bank account. A team member with the viewer role can read a proposal but cannot send or counter an offer.
Request a sponsorship
A sponsorship starts from a group's sponsor link at heylo.com/sponsor and its Sponsor group button, which opens sign-up on brands.heylo.com. Creating the account, naming the campaign, and sending the request are covered in Sponsor a group on Heylo. A request expires 7 days after you send it.
A group that approves your request replies with offers of its own. You do not have to wait for that reply. You can attach your own offer to the request at any point, and doing so is what starts the setup steps below.
Proposal dashboard
Each request and campaign has a proposal page, listed under Campaigns in the side navigation. The campaigns page groups them under Proposals, Active, and Ended. Open a proposal and the header carries its name, a status pill, and a line saying what the proposal is waiting on. The pill reads Review offers, Setup required, Proposal, Starts ASAP, or the campaign start date. No pill shows while the group has yet to respond.

The proposal page holds everything about the deal in one place: the setup banner, the offer summary, the deliverables, and the table of groups. Once offers are sent, View campaign dashboard leads to results. See Campaign metrics.
Complete setup before offers go out
The setup banner tracks three steps: Sign, Link Bank, and Send offer. Until the first two are done, the banner reads "Finish setup to send your offers" and its button is Complete setup →. Once they are done, it reads "Your offers are ready to send" and the button becomes Send offer →.
Signing the campaign agreement happens once per brand, not once per campaign. Linking a bank account moves no money. Both steps, and how each accepted group is charged, are in Fund a campaign.
Build your offer
Select Send offer on the proposal to open Send an offer. The editor asks for an offer name, a monthly price, a start date, a duration, and the deliverables. The offer name is for your team only, and the group never sees it.

Your sponsor banner has to have an image, a title, and a one-liner before the offer can be saved. Until it does, the editor shows Finish your sponsor banner. See Brand kit.
Select Next to save. Heylo takes you to the agreement, then to bank setup, then back to the proposal, skipping whichever of those is already done.
Monthly price
Enter whole dollars. The field strips anything that is not a digit, so cents cannot be entered, and a price of zero cannot be saved. The PRICE column and the offer cards show the amount you pay for that group each month. The offer preview shows the amount the group receives. Where the two differ, the difference is Heylo's platform fee.
A counter offer is checked against a range. A price outside it returns "Monthly price must be between $1 and $10,000".
Duration
Four options: 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, and No end date. The duration counts from the start date and sets how many monthly payments the sponsorship includes. No end date runs the sponsorship month to month with no fixed end.
Start date
Two options: As soon as accepted and On a set date. A set date has to be tomorrow or later. For a sponsorship starting today, use As soon as accepted.
The campaign start date is the floor for the whole proposal. No group can start before it, and raising it drops any per-group date that now falls earlier. If a start date has already passed by the time a group accepts, the sponsorship starts at the moment of acceptance.
Deliverables
Deliverables are what the group completes each month to earn its payment. The first row, Heylo placements, is on every offer and cannot be removed. It is the sponsor banner on the group's profile, event pages, and emails to members, running for the full sponsorship term. Heylo enables it automatically and the group submits nothing for it.

Add deliverable offers four types, each arriving with a default name and a default description:
- Email blast, named Announcement blast. Custom text from your brand kit, included in the group's regular announcements, sent by push notification and email.
- Social media post, named Instagram post. A feed post on the group's Instagram, tagging your brand in the caption and showing your product or logo in the photo or video.
- Event, named Sponsored event. An event that includes your product or signage on site and a shout-out from a host.
- Link, named Verified deliverable. One link as proof of work completed off Heylo, such as a feedback form, a review, or a product purchase.
A new offer opens with an email blast and a social media post selected, and an event and a link present but unselected. Unselected rows are not sent. At least one deliverable besides Heylo placements has to be selected.
Select a row to edit its Deliverable name and Requirements, and to set how often it repeats. Frequency runs from 1 to 8 times, Weekly or Monthly, and a new row defaults to once a month. A link deliverable has no frequency. Write the requirements exactly as you want the work delivered. They become the terms of the sponsorship, they cannot be changed once an offer is accepted, and they are what Heylo checks each submission against.
Before offers are sent you can also rename a deliverable and rewrite its requirements from the proposal page. Adding and removing deliverables happens in the offer editor.
Groups in your proposal
The Groups table lists every group in the proposal with its status, price, start date, and estimated monthly impressions and reach. Every figure is monthly, and the estimates are projections from past performance rather than guarantees. Each column sorts.
A row reads Proposed, Offered, Countered, Active, Passed, or Expired. On a request thread, Proposed is replaced by Awaiting response while the group has not replied, and Response required once it has. An offered row also counts down the days left to accept.
Groups come from the proposal, so a brand cannot add one. Before offers are sent, the row menu has Remove from campaign. After they are sent, a group can no longer be removed. Edit start date stays in the menu for the life of the proposal and changes that one group's start, as long as it is not before the campaign start.
The group's leaders see more than you do at this stage. Heylo shows them suggested offers and suggested pricing for their group, computed from their sponsor profile and comparable sponsorships. Those suggestions never reach your dashboard. You see only what the group chooses to send.
Preview what a group sees
Select the eye icon on a group's row to open Sponsorship offer, the offer exactly as that group receives it. It leads with your brand name, your logo, and your campaign description. Below that sit the monthly amount the group receives, the start date, the duration, when the offer expires, and every deliverable. Select Close to return to the table.
Send your offers
Select Send offer → in the setup banner. There is no confirmation step, so the offers go out as soon as you select it. Every group in the proposal receives the offer at once, and offers can be sent once per proposal. A second attempt returns "Offers have already been sent for this proposal".
Heylo notifies each group's leaders in the app, by push, and by email, with the subject "New sponsorship offer". You then see a confirmation screen with the eyebrow OFFERS SENT and a timeline of what happens next. That screen cannot be reopened, so select View dashboard when you are done reading it.
You have sent successfully when every group in the table reads Offered with a countdown to expiry.
Replies to your offer
A group can accept, counter, or decline. Each reply reaches you by email. Brands have no push notifications and no in-app inbox, so email is the only channel, and every brand email goes to everyone on your brand team.
- Accepted. The subject names the group and "accepted your sponsorship offer", and the button is View sponsorship. The row becomes Active, the start resolves, and the group's deliverable schedule is built at that moment. What the group does from there is in Run your sponsorship.
- Declined. The subject names the group and "declined your sponsorship offer". The row becomes Passed.
- Countered. The subject names the group and "countered your sponsorship offer". The row becomes Countered, and the email links you to the counter.
To answer a counter, open it and select Accept offer or Counter. Nothing on the review screen can be edited. Counter opens Counter offer with the terms filled in, and Review offer sends your revision back. A counter expires 7 days after it is sent. The agreement and the bank account have to be in place first, or the counter is refused with "Complete setup (agreement and bank) before sending a counter offer".
Offers a group sends you
Offers a group sends you appear as cards on the proposal. Each card shows the offer name, the monthly amount you pay, and the term. It also shows the amount the group receives each month, and whether the sponsorship starts on acceptance or on a set date. Select a card to open Review offer, then Accept offer or Counter. Create new offer, below the cards, opens the same counter editor. Accepting one offer declines the others automatically.
Offer expiry and reminders
An offer expires 7 days after it is sent, whichever side sent it. Heylo emails your team before an offer expires and when it does, and you can send a new offer or a new request at any time.
Edit an offer after sending
Before offers go out, everything is editable. Select the pencil in the proposal header to change the campaign name, description, and link, and Edit offer to reopen the editor for the price, dates, duration, and deliverables.
Two things stay editable after sending. Your sponsor banner can be changed until a group accepts and the campaign starts. Each group's start date can be changed in the row menu, and it applies to groups that have not answered yet, never to one that has already accepted or declined.
For anything else, the terms change through a counter. When a group counters, the Counter offer editor is where you send revised terms, and the group can accept those or reply again.
