Brand team and account

Everyone who works on your sponsorships gets their own sign-in to the brand dashboard, with the role you choose for them.

Your brand account holds one team, and every person on it signs in with their own email address and password. Brand accounts are separate from personal Heylo accounts, so the login you use in the Heylo app does not work in the brand dashboard. Admins invite teammates, set roles, and edit the brand details groups see. If your brand does not have an account yet, one is created the first time you sponsor a group.

Sign in to the brand dashboard

  1. Go to brands.heylo.com/login, enter your Email and Password, and select Sign in.

You are signed in when your campaigns open. One message covers every sign-in failure: "Email and password don’t match." Check the address first, then reset your password below.

If Sign in returns you to the same page with no message, your account is not on a brand team yet. Ask an admin at your brand to invite you. To sign out, select Log out at the bottom of the side navigation.

Reset your password

  1. On the sign-in page, select Forgot password?, enter your email address, and select Send reset link.
  2. Open the link in the email, set a password of at least 8 characters, and select Update password.

Check your email appears whether or not the address has an account, so the page never confirms who is on a team. A link that is old or already used shows Invalid reset link. Select Request a new link to start again.

Roles

Every person has one role on this brand. An admin sets it in the invite and can change it at any time. There are three.

  • Admin: everything an editor can do, plus invite and remove teammates, change roles, edit Settings, and link the bank account. Only admins see pending invites.
  • Editor: the sponsorship work. Send a sponsor request, sign the campaign agreement that accepts the Brand Sponsorship Terms, build and send offers, and accept or counter a group's offer.
  • Viewer: read only. Viewers open campaigns, metrics, billing, and the team, and see "Viewer role is read-only" if they try to act on an offer or an agreement.

Every brand email goes to every person on the team, whatever their role. Anyone on the team can select Talk to a sponsorship specialist to reach the Heylo team.

Invite a teammate

Admins invite from the Team page.

  1. Open Team and select Invite member.
  2. Enter the person's name and email address, choose a role, and select Send invite. The role starts as Editor.

The invite is listed under Pending invites marked Pending, and the person receives an email with a link to create their account. Once they set their name and password, they join the team and land on Campaigns. Select the trash icon on a pending row to revoke the invite.

An invite link works once and never expires. Anyone who opens it joins your team as the person you invited, so share the copied link only with them.

An invite can be refused with a message that the email domain is not on the allowed list. That brand account is limited to certain domains. Heylo staff set the list, so select Talk to a sponsorship specialist to change it.

Change a role

Admins change a role from the dropdown on the person's row. The change saves as soon as it is selected, with no confirmation step. You can change your own role, including moving yourself down to editor or viewer. A brand keeps at least one admin, so the last admin cannot be moved to another role, and that row is labeled Last admin.

Remove a teammate

Select the trash icon on the person's row, then Remove. Removing takes away access to this brand dashboard only. The person keeps their sign-in and any other brands they belong to, and no account is deleted.

You cannot remove yourself, and the last admin cannot be removed. Removal is silent: the person is not emailed, and their dashboard stops working the next time it loads data rather than the moment you remove them.

Brand details in Settings

Open Settings to edit what groups see next to your campaigns: Brand name, Homepage URL, Brand color, Logo, and Square logo (1:1). Select Save, and Settings saved confirms it. Only admins can change these fields. Everyone else opens the same page read only. The banner members see is part of an offer rather than a setting: see how your brand appears to groups and members.

Brands you belong to

One sign-in can belong to more than one brand, with a different role on each, so you can be an admin of one brand and a viewer of another. When you belong to two or more, a chevron next to the brand logo at the top of the page opens the list. Switching brands opens that brand's Campaigns.
