Join us for an intentional Black History Month community hike honoring roots, resilience, and the reclaiming of space in nature.
This hike centers reflection, grounding, and collective movement as a form of remembrance, healing, and presence. We walk together with intention—creating space for rest, joy, and belonging.
We walk in remembrance.
We walk in presence.
We walk because we belong here. 🖤🌿
❄️ WINTER HIKING TIPS (PLEASE READ)
To help everyone have a safe and enjoyable experience, please come prepared for winter conditions:
• Dress in layers (moisture-wicking base, warm mid-layer, weather-resistant outer layer)
• Wear sturdy hiking boots with good traction
• Microspikes or traction devices are strongly recommended, especially if trails are icy
• Warm socks, hat, and gloves are highly recommended
• Bring water (insulated bottle if you have one)
• A small backpack is helpful for layers and essentials
• Expect uneven terrain, mud, or icy patches, particularly in shaded areas
• Move at your own pace — this is a judgment-free hike
Come prepared, listen to your body, and honor your limits. 🌿❄️
