Wavers Social Club in collaboration with De HangOut invites you to an afternoon and night filled with waves, stories, live music, and a final dance under the sunset. We gather at the beach to play, share, and celebrate the spirit of our community.
As the summer day drifts into the golden hour, we’ll ride the waves, gather for an open mic with live music, and close the night with a powerful Afro Techno DJ set.

WHAT’S HAPPENING
We’ll kick things off with our signature surf and kite session & beach games.
All levels welcome! New to kitesurfing? We’ll have trainer kites available to try your first steps on the beach in safety. Just look for the Wavers flag at Wijk aan Zee to find us.
After the session, we’ll move to De HangOut, our beachside base with the best view in the Netherlands. There, we’ll open the mic for storytelling and live music. Come express yourself with songs, poems, or stories.
Enjoy fresh drinks and order delicious pizzas from Arnaud, the best surfer-chef in the Netherlands, known for his legendary Nonanza Pizza (pay at De HangOut)
Finally, we close the day with a powerful DJ set by NAUS, bringing Afro Techno rhythms to the beach as we dance together till the sun goes down.
NB: As this event happens entirely outdoors, please bring warm clothes and a rain jacket, just in case the weather turns.
