RTR is a mental health support community first and a running group second. The priority is being a pair of ears for one another. We run about 5km at a comfortable pace for those who join us...it doesn't matter how fast or slow we go.
Before every run there is a window of time to meet the other participants and say hello to the host.
The host will explain the logistics of the route (reminding the group that the run is gentle and that there is no pressure to "keep up"), and that at the forefront of our meetups is support... this really is a safe space to talk about how you're really doing.
Well behaved dogs are allowed if they're on a lead/harness and kept under control.
This is an adult group (no under 18s please).
Run Talk Run is always free to join.
PLEASE NOTE THAT IN THE EVENT OF NO ONE CONFIRMING THEIR ATTENDANCE BY 5PM THE EVENT WILL BE CANCELLED
