Join community members this MLK Day to support a Habitat for Humanity food forest project focused on environmental stewardship, food access, and collective care for the land. This Day of Service honors Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy by turning reflection into meaningful action. All are welcome—no prior experience needed.
Together, we will remove invasive plant species to make way for planting a diverse and thriving ecosystem of fruit trees, edible plants, and pollinator-friendly vegetation. Our efforts will not only enhance the beauty of the area, but also provide an inviting space for the community to enjoy nature while providing a free source of fresh, local produce.
