Homeschool Knowledge • Inclusion • Diversity • Secularism (KIDS) Group is a secular homeschool community for families in and around Western Wake County. We bring families together through field trips, social gatherings, classes, and shared experiences designed to spark curiosity, build friendships, and support one another.
HSKG is not a co-op, and there are no hosting requirements. Our events are a mix of opportunities created by our volunteer Lead Team and members who enjoy hosting events for the group. If you’re interested in hosting, feel free to reach out to a Lead Team member and we’ll be happy to help you get started!

Trial & Membership
• HSKG offers a 30-day trial so new families can get a feel for the group before committing to the annual membership.
• Families must attend at least one event during the trial period to qualify for annual membership.
• The annual membership is $5 per year, paid through the Heylo app. These funds go directly back into the group to support seasonal events, field days, parties, our merch store, and the group website.
