We’re Kent LGBTQ+ Social Group, a relatively new and growing community creating friendly, inclusive opportunities for LGBTQ+ people to meet, make friends and build connections across Kent. 🏳️🌈
We organise a growing range of social activities, including walks, coffee socials, countryside hikes, pub meets and more, with a particular focus on Maidstone, Medway, Canterbury and Folkestone, while remaining open to opportunities across Kent.
As we continue to grow, we’re keen to expand what we offer and build connections with local groups, venues, organisations, professionals and individuals who may want to help shape what Kent LGBTQ+ Social Group can become. We’re always interested in hearing from people who might like to host an activity, share a skill, suggest an idea, collaborate with us or help create more opportunities in their local area.
Our aim is simple: to help reduce loneliness and isolation by creating more opportunities for LGBTQ+ people to connect, socialise, make friends and feel part of a community. 💜
The majority of our events are managed via Meetup.com, and members can also join our WhatsApp group.
