About
Black Women Run which operated Denver Black Girls Run Club was created as a home for Black women and girls to move, connect, and feel supported in every part of their wellness journey. This is a space where we show up as our full selves, celebrate our voices, and build a community that reflects the beauty and strength of the being a Black woman. We come together for running and wellness events/workshops that nourish both the body and the mind. Whether you are working toward your first 5K or preparing for a long distance race, you are welcome here. Every pace has a place and every journey matters. This community is intentionally centered on Black women and girls. We ask that this space be honored and respected so we can move, grow, and breathe freely together. Supporting us also means allowing us the room to gather in ways that are culturally safe, empowering, and affirming. Thank you for choosing to be part of a community built by us and for us. Here we grow in strength, joy, and sisterhood, one mile at a time. Member Requirements Must identify as Black, Afro Latina, or part of the African American Community.
Member requirements
Identify as black or of African descent
