We are South Sound Sapphic — a queer online community rooted in the Pacific Northwest (Tacoma · Seattle · Olympia). We run a storytelling podcast, host IRL meetups and mutual-aid projects, and create space for QTBIPOC, sapphic, trans, and femme folks to gather, learn, and celebrate. Our work centers local queer history, mutual care, and joyful resistance — we show up to make the invisible visible and to protect joy in our neighborhoods. 🎧✨🤝
Our events and episodes dig into messy, essential conversations (from bisexual visibility and lesbian erasure to anti-Blackness and community care). We hold space for complicated stories, center QTBIPOC voices, and build practical, localized mutual aid. Come for the podcast, stay for the community — whether you want to listen, get involved with mutual aid, or join one of our monthly meetups, we’re here to connect and build together.
