The open mic officially starts at 7pm. However, to accommodate everyone who signs up, we've typically started much earlier than that. I will be there around 4:00pm to set up and eat supper. I will put the sign-up sheet on a table shortly after I arrive. The earliest the sign-up sheet has filled up was by 5:00pm...
The open mic is for performing artists, including (but not limited to) the following: musicians, comedians, poets, and story tellers. Beginners, Pros, and everyone-in-between!
For curtesy, please wait until the previous performer or host(s) have completely left the stage before stepping up.
You can ask for accompaniment from drummers, bassists, guitarists, back-up vocals, keyboard, etc. It all depends on who shows up with what gear!
