Ladies and gentlemen, since open water swimming in the freezing water isn’t a vibe for most, we’re doing weekly group swims at the community center pool in Stuyvesant High School. This is meant to be a meet up, and while all paces are welcome (good for me because I’m super slow), these are not swim lessons so be prepared to do your own routine. Friendly members may or may not give you pointers, but come prepared to do your own thing and at your own risk and cost - $15 to enter for the day or $199 for an annual membership. After the swim and weather permitting, we will picnic and cool down the weekend with the sunset by the park between Stuyvesant High School, Pier 25 or Pier 26 or at a local watering hole.
