Track Tuesday: Quick Etiquette Reminders
Our record crowds are amazing! To keep things safe and fun for everyone, please remember:
1.
We are guests. School staff/students always have priority. Be courteous and respectful at all times.
2.
Warmup/Cool-down: Run clockwise in outer lanes (Lanes 3+). Keep Lanes 1 & 2 clear for others' workouts.
3.
During Reps: Run in Lane 1. This creates a single-file line, making it easier and safer for faster groups to pass. Never be passed on your left shoulder.
4.
Finishing a Rep: Don’t stop at the line. Coast 10-15m more, then signal and move clearly to the infield or outside lanes.
5.
Be Discreet: If you must spit, do so off the track and away from others.
6.
Be Seen: As it gets dark, wear a light or reflective gear.
