Four years ago, a handful of founders started showing up to run together on Saturday mornings. This month, we're celebrating everything that's grown from that π
FRC is turning 4, and we're marking it the way we know best: a morning run, a big picnic, and a whole lot of good company. Friends, family, first-timers β everyone's welcome (kids and dogs are more than welcome too!).
Come for the 5k, come for the food, come for new friends. However you show up, the goal is the same: celebrate this community and enjoy a great morning together.
Not a runner? Perfectly fine. Claim a patch of grass and we'll see you when we're back.
Here's how the morning flows:
π From 9:00am β roll in early to set up your blankets, chairs, and picnic spot.
π 9:30am β we kick off together: intros, warmup, a group photo, then out for a 5k.
π ~10:20am β everyone's back for food, drinks, and games.
π Food & drinks are on us, and we've got some gifts from the brands we've partnered with to share with the crew. Don't forget about sunscreen and bring whatever makes a good picnic β frisbees, a soccer ball, blankets, a deck of cards. We'll have some games going too. π Picnic area, Golden Gate Park β
