North Brooklyn Runners (NBR) started in 2009 with a simple goal: to bring the camaraderie of a "team" to the streets of Brooklyn. While NYC has plenty of run clubs, NBR is unique in its mission to unite local runners of every fitness level—from those chasing a sub-3-hour marathon to those just starting their first 5K.

We’re built on a foundation of support, inclusion, and a shared love for the sport. Whether you’re looking for a competitive edge or just a friendly face to log miles with, you’ll find it here. Check out our current run schedule, or join us for our Saturday Morning Bridge Run at 9:00 AM. It’s the perfect, low-pressure introduction to the club, followed by coffee and conversation.
