OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL Hands-on service volunteers – help with set-up, clean-up, meals, ceremonies, registration, and other tasks. Sport-specific volunteers – serve as starters, timers, linesmen, results runners, spotters, and many more roles required to make every event run smoothly. Fans in the stands cheer loud and proud – at competitions, volunteers make sure that every athlete is surrounded by positive support – as often family members are not able to attend. Volunteers of all ages are welcome to cheer and to visit the fan stations (where available) and boost the electric atmosphere even higher. Social ambassadors capture and share the moment – at event venues, social media enthusiasts snap photos, write captions and share the excitement of the day on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Hands-on service & sport-specific volunteers must be age 13 or older – and kids ages 13 to 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
