Welcome, Dupont Runners!
If you're looking for a fun, friendly group of people to run and socialize with, you've come to the right place! We meet every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30pm, right in the middle of Dupont Circle, on the south side of the fountain facing the Krispy Kreme. Tuesday runs are followed by happy hour!
All paces are welcome.
Our routes are usually between 3.5 and 4.5 miles, and often take us through some particularly beautiful parts of the city, including Woodley Park, Georgetown, the National Mall, and Rock Creek Park.
We will run rain or shine (or snow!), but not in a thunderstorm or a blizzard. Weather-related updates will generally be posted in advance.
We hope that you'll join us!
P.S. If you RSVP to say that you are coming and later find you will be unable to make it, we ask that you please update your RSVP so that we know not to wait for you! We'll generally wait a few minutes anyway, but if you show up late and find that we've already set off, feel free to catch up or meet us back at the end :)
