About
We're hosting a meetup for our Volunteers! 💛
Skating season is every season for the Skate Hunnies! From Thursday Night Skate to our pop-up parties and special events, we're looking to grow our volunteer crew and make sure everyone feels more confident and connected. 😊 This event is meant to be an opportunity for our volunteer team to socialize, share info about upcoming opportunities, and hear what you'd like to see more of with Skate Hunnies!
What to expect:
Hands-on mini training sessions for volunteer roles including: • TNS Route leading • Thursday Night Skate route safety
💭 Community Roundtable We'll spend time dreaming together about what's next for Skate Hunnies. We'd love to hear your ideas!
🍕 Pizza + Social Hour We'll wrap up with a casual picnic dinner (provided for volunteers!) and time to hang with the crew :)
Schedule 6:30 PM: Meet up & mingle
6:45 PM: Mini training sessions
7:30 PM: Community roundtable & idea sharing
How to sign up:
If you've already filled out our volunteer interst form, send a quick email to
info@laskatehunnies.com
or DM to Jen on Heylo to let us know you're interested in participating, or fill out our volunteer form here and we'll reach out:
https://forms.gle/kFZdbyKVDXw9dteq6
❗ Please Note❗ This meetup is for approved guests, we're listing it on Heylo for visibility, and we please ask that you follow up via email, DM, or form to attend. This one's for the people pouring love, energy, and support into our community, or for those who're really interested in becoming more involved! 🐝
We're keeping this training intentionally small so we can make the most of our time together and focus on folks who are excited to get more involved and help our community grow.
Thanks for being part of what makes this community so special! 🫶
A huge thank you for being part of this community. Whether you've volunteered once or ten thousand times, your time, energy, and care are what make our crew feel so special. We can't wait for an amazing summer and beyond together. 💛
