Join us at Rockwood Park for a fun fall morning filled with nature, creativity and a little Halloween magic! 🎃🍂
Our little explorers will take a short nature walk to gather fallen leaves, twigs and other woodland treasures before creating their very own SPOOKY TERRARIUM! We’ll scoop, pour, pinch, place and decorate—perfect for practicing those little fine-motor skills.
🫙 PLEASE BRING A JAR! Each child should bring ONE clear, wide-mouth container for their terrarium.
Best size: about 16–32 oz Best choice: clear plastic jar/container with a wide opening Also okay: wide-mouth Mason jar with adult supervision No narrow-neck bottles, please—we need enough room for little hands to decorate!
We’ll provide the soil, rocks, moss and spooky decorations. 👻🌱
After our terrariums are complete, we’ll enjoy snacks, playground time and hanging out with friends. Bring: • Your terrarium jar • Snack or picnic lunch • Water bottle • Clothes/shoes that can get a little dirty
