AAMBC and Culture Club ATL are taking over the BeltLine for Booksgiving, a night of books, food, music and good people. A live DJ will keep the vibe right while readers, writers and culture lovers from across the city come together to swap stories and give back before the holidays.
Here’s how it works: bring a book, leave a book. Drop your book at the swap table when you arrive, then browse and take home something new to read. Fiction, memoir, poetry, self-help, children’s books: every genre is welcome.
Booksgiving also kicks off our Holiday Book Drive. Bring an extra book (or a few) and help put stories in the hands of readers who need them this season.
Free to RSVP. More ways to give.
Stories deserve to be told, and every community deserves access to them. Booksgiving is free to attend, but you can make an even greater impact with an optional $10 donation when you RSVP. A portion of the proceeds will support AAMBC’s mission to amplify Black storytellers, empower emerging writers, and expand access to books and literary resources in underserved communities.
Come for the books. Stay for the music, the food and the community.
What to bring: At least one new or gently used book to swap, plus extras for the Holiday Book Drive.
