We’re kicking off the new year with a scenic hike to Hidden Falls at Oconee State Park! This moderate out-and-back adventure takes us through the beautiful forested terrain of the South Carolina Blue Ridge foothills.
The trail travels through hardwood forest, rolling terrain, rhododendron, and mountain laurel before reaching Hidden Falls. Along the way, hikers should expect roots, rocks, hills, uneven terrain, and potentially wet or slippery sections.
Our destination is Hidden Falls, a beautiful cascading waterfall tucked away within the forest. Water flow can vary depending on recent rainfall, making every visit a little different.
Proper hiking footwear, water, snacks, and weather-appropriate clothing are strongly recommended.
