About
Join us for an evening with Dr. Janna Magette Butler as we challenge ourselves to rethink failure, not as a setback, but as a force that can propel us forward.
Together, we’ll explore how failure has shaped our growth, pushed us outside our comfort zones, and opened the door to new possibilities. Come ready to create, reflect, and embrace the lessons that come from overcoming.
Dr. Janna Magette Butler currently serves as a senior lecturer in Clemson University’s Athletic Leadership Graduate Program and co-directs their POWER Leadership Academy for student-athletes. She earned her doctorate in Leadership Development from the University of Florida. Her professional experience includes collegiate coaching and non-profit administration. A four-year basketball letter winner at Davidson College, Janna is originally from Hoover, Alabama, and now lives in Charleston, South Carolina. She believes leadership is about bringing all of yourself to everything you do and works to help others go, follow, and lead better!
