About
From Finsbury Park we'll head up Parkland Walk, do a loop of Queen’s Wood (hilly) then finish at Highgate (this is 8km) but also go back down Parkland for anyone who’s going that way or wants extra (makes it about 12km).
Meet: Finsbury Park Station
Pace: 07:30mins/km usually, particularly as it's dark!
Distance: 8km but you can extend to more like 11.8km
This one is a slightly hilly one, with a fair amount of gradual inclines and some punchier stuff in Queen's - particularly when it's dark.
If you feel like 8km is too much, you could also just do Parkland Walk, which in itself offers dark fun, and finish at Highgate Station where the run continues to Queen's Wood for a loop (more like 4km).
I’d recommend trail shoes for this one if you have them, due to it being autumn and us having forest floor and gravel tracks.
No bag drop. Bring water and snacks as required!
*Headtorches are ESSENTIAL for this one, and some colourful lights/reflective clothing are also useful to wear on your back/front for any bikes. I have one spare, let me know if you would like to bagsy.
P.S. If you're cycling, Finsbury is a bit busy, but there are frames by F45 gym around the corner.
Please cancel your spot if you can no longer make it so we're not waiting for you or DM on Instagram @ne_london_mrp / @01010011steele
