About
This event was posted in the newsletter today! It’s a great opportunity to celebrate the end of the season with friends and family! We can’t normally take non members on rides but since this won’t be led by SF Tri, we can have guests. Could be the perfect opportunity to convince your friends to try out this lifestyle 😏
So excited to announce a collab with Field Trip! Annie — who you may recognize from Tuesday track — is starting Field Trip, a guided cycling day tour company. Field Trip takes groups (clubs, corporate teams, birthdays, friend groups) on guided rides with a picnic lunch included, plus extras depending on the ride: coffee stops, wine tastings, you name it. She's bringing Field Trip to SF Tri Club and hosting a ride open to members and their friends and family.
Saturday, October 24 · 9AM — wrap up by 2PM Panhandle, Ashbury x Fell
The ride: Two route options — choose on the day: Skip the climbs (newer riders): 28mi, 1,900ft —
https://ridewithgps.com/routes/57097691
Climbers route (more experienced): 31mi, 2,800ft —
https://ridewithgps.com/routes/57097638
Ride at your own pace. Guides will be near the front and back. Not sure you can handle the full route? You're welcome to join for the city portion and turn back before the Golden Gate Bridge. Looking to add more miles? After lunch we can point you toward some of our favorite extensions in Marin to tack on to your ride.
Both routes will feature: Coffee stop at Il Parco (~mile 10) Picnic lunch at Rodeo Beach (~mile 20) Beers in the park at the end
Food: A big, healthy spread at lunch: salads, breads and spreads, dessert. You will be well fed! Note dietary restrictions at signup and we'll take care of you.
Price: $40/person — all inclusive (coffee, lunch, snacks, beers). Venmo @annie-yanofsky to secure your spot. Cancellation and refund available up to 72 hours before the ride.
What to bring: Your bike, helmet, and a water bottleBike clothes (shorts, top, sunglasses, shoes) + layersYour own tubes — we'll have floor pumps and Allen keys on handLeave layers or a day bag with us at the start — we'll label everything and you'll see it at miles 10, 20, and the end.
At the start: Sunscreen, water, electrolytes, and snacks provided. We'll do a quick group intro and walk through the route before rolling out.
Navigation: Download the RideWithGPS app before the ride — no account needed. Open this event link, select your preferred route, tap "Navigate," then "Navigate without cues." We'll walk through it together at the start if you need help.
Rain or shine — if weather is severe, we'll reschedule.
Can't make this one? No worries — we're planning more collabs. Also, if you'd like to book Field Trip for your own group, reach out to Annie at

, @fieldtrip.bike, or (603) 502-5595. More at fieldtrip.bike.
