A few of us are donating next weekend and we’d love for you to join the effort by scheduling a Blood Donation, Saturday, Sunday or whatever works for you!

How Long Does the Blood Donation Process Take?
Many first-time donors are surprised by how quick the process of donating blood can be.
While the actual blood donation usually takes about 10 minutes, the entire appointment, including registration, health screening, donation and refreshments, typically takes about one hour.
Different donation types, such as platelet donation or Power Red donations, may require additional time.
What Happens After Your Donation?
Your impact doesn't end when you leave the donation center. After donation, your blood is typed, tested, processed and prepared for distribution to patients in need as part of post-donation care and safety.
Most donors feel well after donating blood and can return to their normal routine the same day.
