Tree by Tree is a volunteer mapping program that connects Charlotte residents to our tree canopy. The goal is to spark interest in the canopy while encouraging residents to map trees, helping us gain a better understanding of tree coverage and the ecological benefits they provide. Through this collaboration between Landscape Management and Black Girl Environmentalist, we hope to bring expertise from both sides to create a grounded, engaging event that promotes discussion about our canopy and its health while also supporting citizen science.
