our childhood field day is back—except this time, there are drinks, giant inflatables, team shirts, vendors, prizes, music, and no gym teacher.
Temple Trials is inspired by the 90’s adventure show Legends of the Hidden Temple as an adult field day taking over Warrendale Park for one unforgettable day.
When you arrive, you’ll check in, grab a drink, receive your official team shirt, and meet the teammates you’ll be competing alongside. Teams will then rotate through a series of inflatable challenges, relays, puzzles, trivia games, water activities, and ridiculous summer park competitions.
You do not need to be athletic, and you do not need to arrive with a team. Our challenges are designed to reward teamwork, strategy, creativity, coordination, and your willingness to commit to the fun.
Come with friends, bring a date, or come completely alone. Nobody gets picked last—we’ll place you on a team when you arrive.

Don’t Want to Compete? Grab a Park Party Pass and spend the day enjoying the vendors, drinks, music, lawn games, photo opportunities, awards ceremony, and outdoor movie without participating in the official scored competition.

Misses summer camp and childhood field day Loves games, puzzles, obstacle courses, and friendly competition Wants to meet new people in Pittsburgh Is looking for something different to do outside Wants to enjoy drinks, vendors, music, and a full day in the park Never watched the original ’90s game shows but still wants to join the fun
No previous game-show knowledge is required. No elite athletic ability is required. Enthusiasm is strongly encouraged.
Schedule — Gates Open
Check-in, team shirt pickup, drinks, vendors, music, and photos.
— Opening Ceremony
Team introductions, chants, rules, safety instructions, and scoring.
— Temple Trials Begin
Teams rotate through the official challenges.
— Vendor and Social Break
Grab food, refill your drink, meet other teams, and explore the park.
— Final Temple Challenge
The highest-scoring teams compete for the championship.
— Awards Ceremony
Trophies, prizes, team photos, and special awards.
— Park Party
Music, vendors, drinks, and open lawn games.
— Outdoor Movie Finale
Bring a blanket or lawn chair and settle in for a movie under the stars.

Competitor Early Bird: $50
Available for a limited time or until the Early Bird allotment sells out.
Competitor General Admission: $60
Park Party Early Bird: $25
Park Party General Admission: $30
Competitor registration may close before the event so that team shirts and assignments can be finalized.

This is a 21+ event. Guests must present valid identification to receive alcoholic beverages. Please drink responsibly.
Weather Temple Trials is an outdoor event. Details regarding weather delays, rain plans, ticket transfers, and cancellations will be communicated to registered attendees before the event.
Important Information By attending, guests understand that the event includes physical activities and may require completion of an event waiver. Participation in individual challenges is always optional.
