It’s a Saturday. Don’t have a lie in. No Netflix and chill. Come for a ride in Kent…!
🚲 A gentle cycle through the lanes of Kent. There are two route options. The full 65km loop back to Ashford or ride to the cafe (35km) and catch a train from Headcorn station.
🚂 There are various train options depending on where you live.
Option 1) from St Pancras International (09:40) and Stratford International (09:48) to Ashford International (10:18).
Option 2) from Charing Cross (09:04), Waterloo East (09:07) and London Bridge (09:13) to Ashford International (10:21).
Option 3) from Victoria (08:55) to Ashford International (10:32)
The train back from Ashford International or (for 35km route) from Headcorn to London Bridge and Charing Cross.
We start riding about 10:45 and should reach the cafe about 12.30ish and back to Ashford about 4pm depending how long we stay in the cafe.
🗺️ Here is the route for your snazzy bike computers. The Strava and Komoot routes take us to a pub at the end of the route which is optional and is very close to the station.
