Skate Hunnies presents… FIRST THURSDAYS with Metro, Make Good, & the Academy Museum 🎬 This is our GRAND FINALE, the the last stop in the First Thursdays series!! A Group Ride and Skate Social at Academy Museum Pizazz 😍
Join the Skate Hunnies for Thursday Night Skate on our final "First Thursdays," an all wheels welcome community skate meetup through a new neighborhood right by LACMA, and we're going out with a bang.
This month's theme is MOVIE ICONS 🎬✨: dress to impress and come inspired by your favorite movie stars, characters, and big-screen moments!
We're bringing in all the extras for our last one:
💄 Beauty of Joseon beauty cart, giving away their amazing tinted sunscreen!!
🥤 Pricklee, keeping you hydrated with samples
☕️ Good Intentions Coffee, serving up iced tea, lemonade & house-made refreshers
🌮 Chingona Tacos, our food vendor for the night
🛼 Impala Skate, on-site with an activation
🩺 Accelerated Urgent Care, on-site with an activation
🎧 DJ Brayden (Flockheart), spinning a live set
We'll kick things off with an open skate hang from 6:30 PM–7:30 PM outside the Wilshire / Fairfax Metro D Line Station, followed by a group ride through the neighborhood and ending with a skate social at the Academy Museum plaza right across the street.

6:30 PM: Skate Hang + Music + check out the beauty cart samples by Beauty of Joseon and sip on Good Intentions refreshments
7:30 PM: Group Roll Out
8:00 PM–9:30 PM: Academy Museum Skate Social with DJ Brayden (Flockheart), Chingona Tacos, Impala, Pricklee, and Accelerated Urgent Care
🛼 Skill Level
Beginner / Intermediate
Riders should have mastery of stopping and be comfortable maintaining approximately a 6 mph pace during the group ride.
