Women on Wheels Boston along with Save the Harbor/Save the Bay Better Beaches Program and the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) invite you all to join us on Saturday August 15th for a co-ed 10-15 mile bike ride followed by a beach bash!
Save the Harbor is committed to making Boston Harbor, the Islands, our beaches, and their programs inclusive, equitable, diverse, and accessible for everyone and anyone, knowing that racism and oppressive systems have prevented that from becoming a reality. Women on Wheels Boston is bringing on a full day of fun and wellness for the community to enjoy!

Rollout: 11:00am
Location: Carson Beach (Mother’s Rest | Gazebo Area) - across from180 Mount Vernon Street Dorchester, MA
Parking location: FREE parking available at180 Mount Vernon Street Dorchester, MA (Boston Teacher's Union Parking Lot), please walk or ride your bike to the Mother's Rest area by the Gazebo.
Ride Distance: under 15 miles
Pace: 12-15mph

Ride ends approximately at 1:00pm followed by food and lawn game activities.
After ride activities: Food, Music, Beach Games: Tug of War, Volleyball, Giant Jenga, dominos
This event will have basic mechanical support provided by Apex Cycle prior to departing for the ride. Please arrive at 10:00am if you wish to have your bike check-ups prior to departing.
ITEMS TO BRING: •Road or Hybrid Bike in working condition •Helmet required and enforced •Light snacks •Spare tube and flat kit
