UPDATE FROM HIROMI:
Manhattan Gel Station is very much in danger of no longer being the NY Flyers gel station.
As you can see in the screenshot attached, we only have 6 people signed up for the station so far and the September deadline for closing (for logistics and security reasons) is coming fast.
I specifically asked the NYRR volunteer staff to reopen the station for registration and make them only visible to us via a special link.
If there are no other Flyers or family/friends interested in staffing the station I will let the staff know so they can make other plans. While I realize that it is hard for many to get their heads around a date many months from now, NYRR need to make arrangements to assure sufficient coverage on the course.
