The Old John Ward, Cease Fire, and Kolb Farm Loop is a popular 6.9-mile (11.1 km) trail located about 15 miles north of your location in South Fulton at Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park in Marietta, Georgia. Taking an average of 2.5 hours to complete, the route winds through open meadows, hardwood forests, and past significant Civil War earthworks and monuments.
Keep in mind that Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park requires an entrance fee per vehicle.
