Friends Beyond Boston β Waltham Social (20sβ40s) is a local community built around genuine connection, small events, and welcoming spaces where people can actually get to know each other.
This is a member-led group. Members are welcome (never required) to host or co-host simple events with support, or help out behind the scenes, itβs how we keep things fun, varied, and shaped by the people who make this community special.

Join us at CafΓ© on the Common in Waltham for a relaxed, conversational Coffee Social!
π± Welcome Week Event (September 26βOctober 4)
Friends Beyond Boston is participating in Welcome Week, a national week of invitation created by the U.S. Chamber of Connection to encourage communities to open their doors and welcome someone new.
Every September, communities, neighborhoods, and organizations across the country take part by making meaningful invitations, whether thatβs welcoming a new neighbor, reconnecting with a friend, inviting a colleague, or reaching out to someone who may be looking for connection.
To welcome someone is to invite them into belonging.
For this Coffee Social, weβre encouraging members to make a real invitation. It could be someone youβve never brought to an event before, someone new to the area, someone youβve been meaning to catch up with, or someone who might appreciate having a friendly face to join them.
As part of Welcome Week, FBB will cover your guestβs first coffee at this event. β
The cafΓ©βs cozy atmosphere makes it a perfect spot to connect with others, unwind, and start your morning with community.
Weβll get together for friendly conversation and a laid-back morning together. This event is great for anyone looking to meet like-minded people, whether youβre new to the area or just looking to expand your circle. It's a great one if you're looking to get to know the group also with a low-key event.
β Please support the cafΓ© by making a purchase, as we are using their space and their staff is amazing.

The event is listed for one hour because thatβs the time I can usually commit to as the host, but we almost always stay longer, myself included.
Feel free to join a little later if needed and stay as long as you'd like to chat and connect.
