In this month’s workshop, we’ll cover the fundamentals of audio equalization (EQ) and compression tools in music recording.
We’ll dive into pre-recorded song examples where CJ @calebjames.mp3 will demonstrate how each aspect of these tools can manipulate audio to shape a mix of synchronized audio recordings in digital audio workstations (DAW).
We’ll also apply these tools to sound effect (SFX) in music and show how designing sound unique to a recording can bring a recorded track into a polished cohesive sound.

Live demonstrations are provided on a projector screens with speakers to hear audio changes
