Swipe Right is a new play by R.D.G. Wright written in a modern setting but in the spirit of the Ulster comedies of Sam Cree (Second Honeymoon, Widow's Paradise) and Michael Ginelli (Wake in the West).
It’s wedding mayhem at the McIlroy household as influencer Susie marries accident-prone Brian. But it all lands on recently-single Mum Linda, who’s juggling flower-mad neighbours, fitness instructors and dodgy dates. Best friend Carol insists Linda needs a man for the big day, but her ex, Gordon, living in Thailand, has been invited. Will Gordon turn up? Who’ll walk Susie up the aisle? And will Great Aunt Pru sing?
