Yes, there are TWO Thursday Night Skates happening on the same night for the first time ever. Why? Our community is massive and spread all over Los Angeles, so we'd like to try providing two meetup locations to see how you all like it 💛 A parallel meetup will be hosted simultaneously for our South Bay route.
A lovely, scenic route starting at Pasadena City Hall, designed by Katya & Lawrence! Skaters should be comfortable with controlling their speed going downhill.
Important ride info:
• This ride is NOT a loop, though skaters can take the train to/from the start/end locations
• Intermediate-level skate
• Mostly downhill
• Skaters should be comfortable controlling speed on descents
Midway break at Garfield Park with bathrooms and water available.
We’ll end in Highland Park with easy access to bars and spots to grab a drink for those who want to keep the night going.

Controlling speed, going downhill, ability to stop, riding on some rougher roads. Bring protective gear, lights, and water.

Other notes about the route:
We will start the route by Pasadena City Hall, by the Memorial Park A line metro stop and end at the Highland Park A line metro stop. We suggest either parking by the HLP stop at the half metered half paid lot and taking the metro to Pasadena, or parking in Pasadena (free parking) and at the end of the route, taking the metro from HLP back to your car.
