The trail takes you into the canyon to two stunning waterfalls:
•
Cherokee Falls – reached first, about ½ mile from the trailhead. It’s easier to access and you can often get close to the base of the falls.
•
Hemlock Falls – another ½ mile farther down, with a beautiful viewing platform overlooking a taller waterfall.
