We are Footsteps Homeschoolers, a member-run Christian homeschool support group based in the Cary / RDU area. We provide fellowship, encouragement, and family-friendly events for homeschooling families — from playgroups and meetups to teen social events like our Glow Dance and Starry Nights Prom. 📚✨

Our events are volunteer-run and open to both members and non-members. We focus on community-building, faith-centered support for homeschool families, and fun activities for teens (prom: ages 14–19). You’ll find registration info, event details, and ways to get involved on our website.

Join Footsteps for the 2025-2026 school year! 

We are a Christian, member-run homeschool support group in Southwest Raleigh/Cary/Apex. We provide encouragement and support for our members through fellowship, prayer, and assistance. Our activities include field trips, park days, clubs, functions, and moms' meetings. Membership is not capped. We are open to preschool through high school homeschoolers.

We are so grateful to each member who joins and helps to plan events. As a homeschool support group, we want this to be a fun and educational community! When registering you will be required to sign up to plan or co-plan a minimum of one event. The more active each member is, the stronger our group will be. (What you sign up for is not binding. If you sign up to do a field trip now and later change your mind and want to plan another event, that is okay.)

We are a homeschool group run by members, so the more active the members, the more active the group will be! If you’re inspired to plan more than one event - please do! Members that provide recurring events and/or plan more than one event will get extra event credits that will add your name to a thank you raffle.
