About
Join us for an afternoon of conversation with a guest speaker joining via Zoom: a trans lesbian Catholic priest who describes herself as an “unconventional priest & holy troublemaker.”
This discussion will explore experiences within the trans community through the lenses of understanding, awareness, and social justice, while also sharing her personal journey, choices, and challenges navigating life and ministry within the Catholic Church.
Her church, which is comprised entirely of LGBTQ Catholics, is independent of the Roman Catholic Church.
This is not a religious event and not a space for conversion or debate. Our goal is to create an environment for learning, thoughtful questions, open minds, and respectful dialogue. Whether you arrive with lived experience, curiosity, questions, or simply a desire to better understand perspectives different from your own, you are welcome.
Please bring curiosity, kindness, and respect for one another.
