Greetings Everyone - Join us on Sunday as we walk the lava flow from Mount St John to Meola Reef, with the after function at The Emerald - Epsom.
🟡 Some words to Inspire you:
Tracing lava flow is a chance to walk Auckland’s hidden geology in real time. The route follows the ancient basalt channel as it winds through Remuera, Mt Eden, Morningside and Western Springs, revealing how the city was shaped by fire long before it was shaped by people.
If time and conditions allow, you can continue walking toward the tip of Meola Reef, enjoying wide harbour views and the sense of standing on Auckland’s youngest volcanic coastline.
After our adventure, you're welcome to join us for some well-deserved relaxation and camaraderie at The Emerald Epsom.
