Bike Packing to Lopez Island

This is one of my favorite bike packing trips to do during the summer.
The San Juan Islands are beautiful all year long but specially during the usummer!
For this trip we do not have a reservation for a campsite, we may not even find a bike in spot available so people need to be prepared to set their tents in a “public” space on the campsite.
The drive to Anacortes is 1 hour and half so make sure to leave with enough time to pay for parking, unload your bike and meet us on the terminal to get your ticket!
The bike ride to our campsite is 6 paved miles with rolling hills.
