The winter grind is over and the sun is out - the SUMMER OF SPEED is officially here. Guided by Coach Benny P, we'll be working on a 4-month block with bi-weekly coached sessions where we'll look at improving your 5K time with a timed event at the end to see how much you've progressed!
Whether you’re looking to smash a PB or you’ve never stepped foot on a track before, this is where we level up. Expect high-intensity intervals, explosive energy, and our classic Midnight Runners community vibes under the stadium lights πŸ’«
πŸ“ Battersea Park Millennium Arena Track 6:30 PM πŸ’« MEET/BAG DROP 6:45 PM πŸ‘Ÿ KICK-OFF 8:30 PM 🍻 POST-TRACK SOCIAL
πŸ’ͺ SESSION STRUCTURE We'll first start with a warm up jog, followed by some drills, stretches and community fun! The programme is structured so you can always adjust the number of reps as needed.
Week 7: 2 x (800, 3 x 400m) - (3 mins between sets, 90 secs after 800, 60 secs after 400)
πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ PACE Run your own pace or find a new friend to push yourself based on the program provided! Every pace has its place and we encourage everyone to support all runners wherever they are on the track.
πŸŽ’ BAG DROP We'll leave our bags on the track side in a centralised area.
🎟️ ENTRY FEE There is a £6 entry fee for the track which you can pay by card.
