Book in for the big pride takeover! QSC members are now booked in at an exclusive 20% discount but if you missed out, book onto one of the surf sessions listed below via The Wave website to join us in the line up!

Let’s shake off those Bristol Pride hangovers and get hanging ten together 🤙🏼
Maybe you’ll already be in town for pride, wanting to get back on the board after a long ‘ol winter or ready for some paddle practice, we’ve got options for everyone. We all know summer swells aren’t the MOST consistent 😉
Here’s how the afternoon is shaping up:
1pm 🏳️🌈 QSC welcome circle
2pm 🏄🏼♀️ Intermediate session #1
2.30pm 🏄🏽♂️ Beginner lesson
3.30pm 🏄🏽 Improver lesson
4pm 🏄🏼♀️ Improver session
5pm 🏄🏽♂️ Intermediate session #2
6.30pm Dinner in The Wave Clubhouse or Terrace (weather dependent) - options to purchase on site or bring your own.
🎥 FREE across the afternoon - Bristol Surf Cinema will be screening a selection of 3+ queer surf films in The Hideaway space at The Wave for surfers and spectators to come and enjoy!
There will be options to surf the RIGHT or the LEFT of the wave pool. See available slots ⬇️
🐠 For LGBTQIA+ families there is a special edition of Play in the Bay at 16:00 - please message Steph if you’d like to join this!

🚨 BOOK NOW so we can make this happen! The Wave will invoice us directly on Friday 12th June to confirm the booking so please book in by then.
Your waiver will be sent to you a few days before the event - we’ll collect name, DOB, email, mobile number via a Google Form to facilitate this.

🌊 Surfing
Lessons are 90 minutes. Sessions are 60 minutes. You need to arrive at The Wave at least 60 minutes before your booking (we’d LOVE for you to hang out from 1pm and join for the welcome circle!). To make sure you book the right session for you, please see The Wave’s website:

————— LEFT or RIGHT?
It's generally considered to be easier to surf facing the wave so this means the general rule is; if you surf with your left foot forward on the board ("regular surfer") and want to surf on your “forehand”, book the RIGHT wave.
If you surf with your right foot forward on the board ("goofy surfer") and want to surf on your “forehand”, book the LEFT wave.
If you're standing on the shoreline looking out to the water;

🚗 Travel
Ngl, The Wave is a bit of a faff to get to! Steph, Gav, Shaun & Juliette have all offered lifts from Bristol so far. Once booked on we can arrange lifts in the event group chat from Bristol, surrounding areas or Bristol Parkway station if coming from further out!
Parking is free at The Wave.
There is a 15 minute walk from the car park to The Clubhouse. Please remember to arrive at least 60 minutes before session, but hopefully you’ll join for the welcome circle and hang all day!
🔑 Accessibility
The Wave site was designed to be accessible by wheelchair. There are disabled toilets located around the site and changing rooms with a seated shower available. There are a limited number of parking spaces at the Clubhouse for blue badge holders.
