A great opportunity to experience a spectacular thru hike from North Sonoma Mountain Regional Park to Jack London State Park. This is part of the 375 mile Bay Area Ridge Trail as It passes through forests and grasslands on the eastern and northern sides of Sonoma Mountain.
Give yourself plenty of time to arrive, pay park fee and use the toilet. It often takes longer than you think.
The Carpool Shuffle
We will meet at Jack London at 830am. Please be on time! We'll take 4-5 people each in 4 cars to N Sonoma Mtn to start the hike no later than 930am! After arriving back at Jack London we will need 1 or 2 cars to take 4 folks back to N Sonoma Mtn at 5297 Sonoma Mountain Road, to pick up their cars. I've done this a few times and it always works out.

Waitlist Policy
Be aware that there may be a waitlist. If your plans change and you will not be attending, opening up a spot 2-3 days before the hike makes it more likely someone will be able to attend than if you cancel at the last minute (aside from an illness). If you're on the waitlist and your plans change it's your responsibility to cancel your rsvp or you may end up on the attend list. You're considered a "no-show" if you don't cancel and don't show up to the event. Members with 3 no-shows will be removed from the group.
Hike may be changed, rescheduled or cancelled in case of excessive heat, rain, smoke/AQI, illness, zombie apocalypse etc... Check your email 24 hours before the event for any possible changes.
