This race is a ton of fun! Multiple heats for every pace group, and an awesome after party! The course is flat with a few sharp 180 degree turns. It's usually pretty hot and a bit windy, but it's still a ton of fun because spectators get to see you about 5 times from the same spot. It's kind of a hike getting to the rockaways, but there's a subway option, a ferry option, and plenty of street parking near the beach. You can get more info about registration here:
