Mikkeller Runnning Club London are organising another brewery weekend long run in Kent and have asked if we would like to join them again!
Here is the info from their event:
"Join us for a fun coastal scamper from Faversham to Whitstable, finishing up with our new friends at Whitstable Oyster Brewing, sinking some of their delicious beer with some fish and chips by the beach. What could be better?
We will meet at Faversham station for a 1:00pm start and hug the coastal trails for a 15.5k scamper, but also offer a 12.5k alternative, cutting off a corner of headland before joining the coastal path.
The route is mainly grass trails, with some sections of shingle - so please bear in mind with your choice of foot-ware. It’s point-to-point, with no opportunity for bag-drop, so ensure you’re comfortable running with whatever bag you bring.
It’s set to be a fantastic day out, and we’re stoked for it. Any questions, please drop us a message on Instagram (MRC.London)"
You can also join their event on Strave via this link: https://www.strava.com/clubs/2017177/group_events/3480871509077530342
And they have also have a whatsapp group that you can be added to if you like to keep up to date with things on the day. We joined them last year for their run from Whitstable to Canterbury which was a great day out that finished at Floc Brewery.
Anyone travelling from Canterbury can catch the 12:47 train from Canterbury East which gets in just after 1pm or you are welcome to make your own way to the start in Faversham.
For those who would like to run a little further that day there is always the option of running back from Whitstable to Canterbury as well!
