Part 3 of the Trilogy: back to the big smoke
Designed to be ridden across several days (unless you’re into ultra), the London Revolution loop is an epic loop that crosses six different counties and showcases the shifting landscape of London's Green Belt.
It is predominantly a road-cycling route that relies on quiet country lanes, rolling hills, and occasional cycle paths.
I’ve led 2 different rides, one in June, one in July - this will be the last one of the Trilogy happening in the second weekend of September :)
Rough distance: 73km, 500m elevation
Meet a outside Chesham tube station (direct from London on the Metropolitan line) from 10:00 we start rolling at 10:15 sharp
CHECKPOINTS
12:30 Coffee / lunch stop at The Brunch Barn in Enfield. Trains to London in Enfield for those in a hurry!
14:30 Approximate end in Stratford
Important notice!
Please note this is a Steady ride keeping a medium and constant pace with only one main stop after 55km. Bring enough fuel to get you going until the stop ;)

🏅 Suitability & Experience Level: 55km non stop until main coffee/food break.
🚴♀️ Pace(s): Steady+ – 25+ kph on flats, some climbing. Split no drop if the group size sufficient. You will need a road bike (city bikes or hybrid bikes NOT recommended)
🆕 New Riders: New to the club? Please get in touch to discuss the suitability of the ride for you. We're happy to help you find the right ride!
Do bring:
✅ sunscreen, windbreaker
✅ multitool, hand pump, inner tubes
✅ phone holder to follow the route, power bank & cables
✅ water and snacks - as we will only do one stop do bring enough food you can eat on the bike, you will need fuel ;)
