Miguel Barquín Tejera
La Laguna, Tenerife, Spain, 1976.
Graduated in Fine Arts from the ULL (University of La Laguna, Tenerife) in 1999. He studied illustration at the ESDIP (Escuela Superior de Dibujo Profesional) in Madrid. He has been a teacher of workshops in painting and drawing in Tacoronte, Tenerife, for fourteen years. He has been teaching painting and drawing in his workshop in La Laguna from 2007 to the present.
He has illustrated children's text books, and documentaries for the Canary Island's television. Since 2022, he has been regularly posting the process of his personal illustration projects on his Instagram. His Instagram account is @jan_cocodrulu.
